“An Italian delight in grand Irish Style” Cobourg Daily Star
"Chef Peter O'Hara's interest in cooking has always been a passion. When he retired (at age 55) he traded his white shirt for a white smock and apron and enrolled in the George Brown College Apprentice Cook Program. He studied Italian cuisine and then applied his craft in Italy in 2002 for a good part of that year, obtaining his Red Seal certification. Wheat really draws your attention is Peter O'Hara's inventive menu. It flirts with diners, enticing them to experience his flare for Italian cooking with a little Mediterranean influence. Depending on what you order, a side of Greek, Moroccan or Asian thrown in. "I love what I'm doing and will carry on. I want people to see that this is a nice place to come to" says O'Hara."
